Following postgraduate study at The University of Sydney and UNSW, Rachel started her working life as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Molecular Biology working in novel drug designs for cancer. The obvious candy making career path followed, and she opened a confectionary business, Sticky, with her husband in The Rocks in 2000. For 20 years they have steered the business through domestic expansion, children, international expansion a global financial crisis and COVID. They are proud that their family business has seemingly taken off over nigh after 20 years of hard work.
