Corrina Wright, from Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards is the leading voice of the Oliver family’s sixth generation and the impetus behind their own wine label – Oliver’s Taranga. The family have been growing grapes in their McLaren Vale vineyard for more than 180 years and she has helped the family business grow from supplying grapes to other wineries through to developing their own wine brand. She has helped the brand grow in a multi award winning wine & tourism business. Passionate about her home, her vocation and local community she has also served on the boards of the McLaren Vale Grape, Wine & Tourism Association, the Australian Society of Viticulture & Oenology (ASVO) and the Winemakers Federation of Australia. She currently sits on the board of the Australian Wine Research Institute and is part of the Australian Women in Wine Awards organising committee, representing Australia on an international level. Corrina was the 2019 ASVO Winemaker of the year and the inaugural recipient of FBA’s Leading Women in Family Business Award in 2021.
