A message from the Chairman
If the past 16 months has taught us anything, it’s the importance of human connection and the sharing of personal experiences.
Unlike other conferences that focus solely on the transfer of knowledge, the Family Business Conference – Asia Pacific also has a strong focus on the social connection and growth of our community.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the family business community and we have a host of social events and activities planned to help you reunite with your peers and foster new connections.
On Tuesday 9 November, catch-up with old friends and make new connections at the Welcome Function, held poolside at RACV Royal Pines Resort. Join us a day before the conference program kicks off for the Longest Lunch and the NxG Longest Lunch – true highlights of the conference each year.
A first for this year will be our Traction workshop. Get out of your comfort zone and experience team building in a very different way. During this unique team building session, you will build a bike in a team of two. The bike you build will then be donated to a child with a personal message from you.
Following on from the success of our previous B2B Speed Networking sessions, it’s back again in 2021! Expand your business, social or enterprise contacts all in a relaxed informal setting. Don’t forget to pack your business cards – you never know who you might meet!
Also back this year is the Ambrose Golf Tournament. The RACV Royal Pines Resort has the Gold Coast’s only 27-hole golf course, and one that is also host to the Australian PGA Championship. Join us for a spot of golf, Ambrose style on Saturday, 13 November.
We understand that the friendships and connections you make are just as important as the things you learn and I encourage you to take advantage of the wide range of social activities on offer. I look forward to seeing you at the Family Business Conference – Asia Pacific.
